This campaign is about flipping the priorities.

Mayor Frey and the status quo are failing Minneapolis residents. We deserve a Mayor who makes it so people want to continue to live here, raise families here, and start businesses here.

Build a Minneapolis working people can afford to call home.

  • Raise the minimum wage to $20/hr by 2028.

  • Pass rent stabilization while incentivizing new construction & tenant protections.

We deserve: A Mayor who stands with working people.

Protect our City from Donald Trump.

  • MPD should not support ICE, whether it’s an Immigration raid or not.

  • Stand up against Trump’s attacks on healthcare and bodily autonomy.

We deserve: A Mayor who won’t run from Trump, but will build the line of defense.

Diversify our City’s public safety response.

  • 47% of MPD calls don’t require an armed response, according to a city report. Investing in non-police programs like mental health responders, crisis teams, and youth programs will free up police resources to actually focus on violent crimes that detract from community safety.

  • Fix the broken systems and clear the backlog of unsolved police cases.

We deserve: Care, not crackdowns. That’s true public safety.

“A city that lifts up working people is a city that lifts up everyone.”

It’s time for a Mayor who has real solutions.

  • Mayor Frey promised to end homelessness by 2022. Today, there are more unhoused neighbors than when he first took office.

  • Mayor Frey promised workers he supported a Labor Standards Board —then he vetoed it when the Chamber of Commerce called.

  • Mayor Frey told Uber and Lyft drivers he had their backs, then vetoed their wage bill. Twice.

  • Five years ago, Mayor Frey promised changes to public safety. But he vetoes every solution that comes to his desk.

Accomplishments

As a State Senator, I’ve helped pass some of the boldest, most progressive policies in Minnesota’s history:

  • Tuition-free college (Northstar Promise) for working-class families.

  • A living wage for Uber and Lyft drivers.

  • $19M in public safety funding for Minneapolis.

  • 100% clean energy by 2040.

  • Legalized fentanyl testing strips.
