Your Voice Mattered at Convention - Help Us Tell the MN DFL
Thanks to your support, we won the DFL Endorsement! Since the convention, Jacob Frey and individuals upset with the result have sought to overturn our endorsement. We see this for what it is: absurd and costly. But there is a real chance our endorsement is revoked if the Minnesota DFL does not hear from Minneapolis Delegates and Alternates who know their voice was heard, and the party process delivered a valid endorsement.
Can you write a testimonial (3-4 sentences, even) that we can share with the DFL before challenges are heard that describe the convention process and how voices were heard, not stifled? Thank you for your continued support!

*Sample text for Delegates:
My neighbors matter. I come from a diverse ward of renters, immigrants, and working families. We speak many languages, have a wide range of lived experiences, and we participate in local democracy because we love our community and care deeply about electing city leadership that represents us and our values. In April 2025, I was entrusted by DFLers in my precinct to represent them at the Minneapolis DFL City Convention.
At the convention, there were repeated attempts by the Frey campaign to disrupt, delay, and disregard the will of delegates. Each time, the result was the same: the will of the body was to continue with the business of the day.
My neighbors entrust me to represent them, and they trust the DFL process to be inclusive of their voices. Despite attempts by a minority that day to call into question the endorsement of Omar Fateh and an amazing slate of candidates, I remain committed to representing my neighbors with integrity and to uphold the will of the majority of delegates who helped to complete the work we came to do.
I hope the DFL members who will rule on these challenges brought forward by the Frey campaign will see these for what they are: more disruption and disorder that seeks to further disenfranchise the majority of delegates who voted — in accordance with the rules — to endorse Omar Fateh on convention day.
*Sample text for Volunteers:
As a committed volunteer for the DFL party and my neighbors, I was sad to see how the Frey campaign used disorder to dishonor the will of the body and our time that day, where we gave 12 hours of our time to carry out the will of the people.
At the convention, there were repeated attempts by the Frey campaign to disrupt, delay, and disregard the will of delegates. Each time, the result was the same: the will of the body was to continue with the business of the day.
Their attempts to “flood the zone” with challenges, rule changes, and to inundate the credentials table by sending confusing texts to alternates resulted in what looked like disorder for the sake of disorder.
I hope the DFL members who will rule on these challenges brought forward by the Frey campaign will see these for what they are: a continuation of this same disruption at convention and that seeks to further disenfranchise the majority of delegates who voted to— in accordance with the rules — endorse Omar Fateh on convention day.
